Separating Ourselves
Through Improved Centrifuge Operation

Our Assignment: ChemTech’s engineering services improved a Pennsylvania manufacturer’s tar centrifuging facility to eliminate problems with excessive fumes generated during centrifuge operation.

The Result: The client enjoys improved operator safety and spill protection, as well as increases in fume removal and tar storage capacities.

The Natural Choice for Designing Polyester Waste Incinerators

Our Assignment: We designed a process to eliminate by incineration noxious fumes crated from the venting of polyester resins at a client’s facilities in California, Illinois and Pennsylvania, installing draft incinerators in the California and Pennsylvania plants, and a waste heat boiler at the Illinois location.

The Result: Destruction of organics in all three of the client’s polyester resin production plants in greater than 99.999%.

Adding Muscle to a Bulk Packaging Facility’s Pastillator

Our Assignment: Identify manufacturers and specify, engineer, install and commission a bulk packaging unit and control systems upgrade to satisfy customers’ requests for 1,000-lb. and 2,000-lb. bags of granulated product instead of 50-lb. ones.

The Result: The client was able to meet customers’ new requirements satisfactorily after a shutdown of only 10 days.
